The 2024 Lanka Premier League (LPL) was held from 1 July to 21 July 2024. Kusal Mendis – Jaffna Kings
Kusal Mendis, captain of the national ODI team, showcased his talent by scoring 329 runs in 11 innings. His top score of 105 and an average of 36.55 were instrumental for the Kings. Mendis’ batting included one century and one fifty, along with 35 fours and 10 sixes, proving his ability to anchor the innings as well as accelerate when needed. Leading the national ODI team and contributing significantly to Jaffna Kings’ success, Mendis’ leadership and batting abilities were on full display.
